I would go with an International Franchise.
MLM can no longer claim to be new and, thus, exempt from the normal rules of the market and the way goods and services are sold. They have been tried and, for the most part, have failed. Some have been miserable failures in spite of offering excellent products.

For passive income I would recommend MLM. It takes a smaller investment to start, and it can actually create passive income. The closest you can come to passive income with a franchise is to pay someone to run it for you. Reputable companies can be found at http://www.DSA.ORG.
