Who doesn’t have a blog? Probably no one you know. Who knows how to make money blogging? Far fewer people, that’s who. Why is that? If you’ve got a blog, why not make it worth your while.
If you’re a blogger, you have several talents you can put to use right now to start to make money online. For one thing, you know how to write. In fact, odds are you know how to write better than many professional writers.
That’s not to say that professional writers can’t make money with a blog, too. It’s just that bloggers who are not trained writers tend to have a conversational style that is perfect for writing articles to promote their products. People can sense a too-polished approach, but always respond well to a conversational type article, especially if you’re actually interested in your subject.
Whatever your blog is about, odds are it sticks to a theme. If music is what you’re interested in, you probably write blog entries about music all the time. If you’re into hot models, you probably write about them. A quick scan of your blog posts will show you that you’ve already got most of your keywords in your writings.
Now all you’ve got to do is see the bigger picture. You need to move from that one blog you’ve got to dozens of blogs and articles spread in as wide a net as possible. Doing this by hand is a very tedious process, but you don’t have to do it that way. Article submission services are very cheap. Some are even free, but they don’t have the reach of the subscription services. You will really notice a difference when you start using them.
Once you start generating traffic, you’ll want to keep them coming back for more. This is best done by starting a mailing list. This way, every week or so, you can send out a mailing and keep them interested in you and your blog.
You’re going to have to put a lot of work into it at first, but later you’ll be able to go back to blogging as usual and watch your passive income online start rolling in. You might be amazed by how much money you can make, just by blogging.
Really, can you think of a single reason why you shouldn’t give it a shot? It won’t cost you a thing to get on board some affiliate programs. Later, you might want to start marketing your own products. There are so many great digital product possibilities out there, like video downloads, MP3’s and eBooks. There’s no limit to what you can do if you put your mind to it!
